SELLERS COMMENTS Renovating my cottage has been a real labour of love, creating a new home for me once the family had "flown the nest".

Castle Hill was my destination of choice, having thought long and hard about where I wanted to be: the buzz of the street , the joy of the castle and the eclectic mix of eateries drew me to this location.

The cottage was in a very unloved state when I first stepped through the door to view: it was just such a lovely space with some delightful features which clearly needed bringing back to life & so the total inside rebuild commenced to make the most of the bright and airy feel that could be created.

It all began with sandblasting the beams to return them to their original state, renewing all electrics plumbing and central heating system and then I was left with a blank canvas to create my cosy, with all modern amenities, home. The building team were superb and skilled so I could spend my time sourcing all the fittings and designing the decor. All great fun and hugely challenging too!

The final phase was to create my sanctuary garden space for work and quiet times in the sun filled garden, whilst knowing I would want to share special times and to party with family and friends too. The cottage gardens have a great sense of community with everyone designing their own garden in very individual ways. I feel I step into the countryside & peacefulness when I wander down to the garden.

I shall be hugely sad to say goodbye as it’s been a joy living here & brought me huge happiness. A new phase in my life has emerged and it’s time to create a new home with someone special.
